Q What is DivX Playback?
A DivX files are based on MPEG4 technology
– an updated and advanced variation of the MPEG2 format commonly used with current DVD movies.

DivX files need far less disc capacity to support high resolution
moving pictures and stereo sound. With similar resolution
and picture quality to a DVD,
one DivX movie can be compressed and fully recorded onto a 700MB CD disc.

There is a growing range of DivX material available
for download over the internet.
Simply download and burn to CD or DVD disc, then play them back
from any LG DVD recorders.
